Where should I install Solarud NANO on my panels?
Solarud NANO is installed along the lower frame edge of solar panels, where water and dirt tend to accumulate. Clips are typically placed near the lower corners and, depending on layout, also along the centre.

How many clips do I need per system or per panel?
This depends on panel orientation. Portrait panels typically use 2 clips near the lower corners, while landscape panels typically use 3 clips—two near the corners and one in the centre.

How does it help reduce dirt buildup?
Solarud NANO drains accumulated water from the lower frame edge, helping reduce the buildup of dirt and debris in this area.

Can I install Solarud NANO together with BirdBlocker?
Solarud NANO and BirdBlocker are typically not installed on the exact same edge of a panel.

While some BirdBlocker clips such as BoxClips and CableFixPro may provide a drainage effect, Solarud NANO is specifically designed to optimize water runoff and reduce buildup at the panel edge.

How to combine both systems:

• Bottom panel row: BirdBlocker takes precedent on the bottom perimeter edge
• Upper panel rows: Solarud NANO can be installed along the bottom edges of panels within the array

This allows you to maintain full bird protection while still improving drainage.

Is it compatible with all solar panel frames?
Solarud NANO is designed for framed solar panels within the following ranges:

• Frame height: 28–40 mm
• Frame (upper) depth: 8–11 mm

Compatibility should always be checked against your panel specifications.

Is it resistant to UV and weather?
Yes. Solarud NANO is built for outdoor use and is resistant to UV exposure and high temperatures (up to 105º C).

Generally, the lead time for processing orders is 1-2 business days; however, this cannot be guaranteed. Pickup is not offered. Orders of fewer than 24 units of BirdBlocker are shipped via UPS. While we cannot ensure their service times, 1-2 business days for transit in mainland Europe is a realistic expectation. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Initial shipping costs are covered for orders over €150.

We provide a 14-day return policy, which means that after receiving your items, you have 14 days to request a return. To qualify for a return, your product must be in the same condition as you received it – unopened, complete, unused, and in its original packaging. If the product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at order@weprotectsolar.com so we can assess and resolve the issue. Returns will be refused if they do not meet our requirements or are sent back without prior return authorization. Upon receiving a return, we will inspect the package and notify you of the decision. Authorizations, approvals, and refusals will be communicated via email. Once approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 days. Processing times may vary due to bank and credit card services as well. 

Shipping costs are non-refundable; therefore, refunds will total the original order amount minus the initial shipping cost.
